2021 Top Ten Race

The top ten is an event that has taken place at NSES for the last 30+ years. It is an event that all the kids look forward and try very hard to get into. It is the culminating event after a 2 week running unit. The top ten fastest girls and boys run in the event while the entire school comes out and cheers them on. They make signs and this year the kids were able to chalk up the new track with fun and exciting messages to encourage the runners. The race is run twice a year giving all the kids two opportunities a year to participate. It is a fun and exciting day at our school, one that has been a tradition for many years
