Our assembly opened with the girl scouts presenting the colors. Afterward, kindergarten students led the rest of the school in saying the pledge. From there, students greeted one another with an air-five, participated in a fun community builder, and then enjoyed special guest "Grandpa K", who joined us to share the story, What if everybody did that? This reminded all of us why it's important for everyone to do their part and follow the rules. Lastly, Chopper made a surprise appearance to pump up the crowd and celebrate our time together. Thanks to kindergarten and fifth grade for planning such a wonderful event for our school!
